All students will complete our Foundation Programme with the following:

ability to discuss and give opinions about various topics studied

knowledge and understanding of various grammar points

ability to read and gather information from different types of written documents including; novels, articles, dialogues, interviews, charts and graphs

ability to listen and obtain information from dialogues, lectures, conversations

ability to write various types of documents, including; diary entries, stories, essays, projects, reports and academic styles necessary for their degree course

areas covered on our Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics and Statistics courses as per the syllabuses

knowledge and practical ability to use study skills to study effectively and independently

ability to communicate with teachers, classmates and friends on different themes

understanding of the theoretical and practical differences between the Chinese and British education systems and what it will be like to study in the UK

familiarity and confidence of using English in a social environment.
